It had only the middle tall part, consisting of (what is now) the living room, dining room, front hall, and the 3 upstairs bedrooms, which I think were 2 bedrooms and a loft area at the time.

The other day, I was watching the baby and Chris was watching Ellen or something so I asked him to go hang this mirror on the back of Kennedy’s closet door.It’s something I’ve been meaning to do for a long time, just to get it out of the way and make it usable for her, but it was just a plain cheapo mirror with  no hanging hardware, so I wasn’t exactly sure how it was going to happen.

I knew Chris would figure something out though.Here’s a great tip for how to hang a picture quickly and easily.. How to Hang a Picture, Mirror, or Sign.If we have any hanging hardware around this house anywhere, I don’t know where it is right now, so this is just as good.

are pretty much always within reach around here..In fact, I made these white “ginger jars” about 5 years ago.

The thing is though, they remain two of my absolute favorite decor items in my living room, along with my over-sized black and white photos, to this day.And I’ve never shared them with you!

How rude, right?Well, today I’m going to fix that.
